• Storck Fascenario 0.6, New Range Topper from Storck
Storck have introduced their brand new range topping Fascenario 0.6 at Bike Radar live and it has caused something of a stir in the high end bike market.
So what’s so good about it? In short a new range topping bike from Storck is certainly something to get excited about. All Storck framesets are industry leading in manufacturing processes, materials and ride quality and are the only true monocoque framesets on the market - Storck frames are all manufactured as one object - lugs and bonding are absent resulting in zero frame weak spots. A new range topping model from Storck guarantees to be the best available in today’s bike market.
Marcus Storck has concentrated heavily on total system integration with the Fascenario 0.6 - internal brakes inside the new Storck/THM fork and seat stays start off the integrated theme whilst a full internal Shimano Di2 set up and the integrated Storck Powerarm crankset round off a seamless module.
The features don’t stop with these most visually noticeable changes. The other and perhaps most important new features are largely un-noticeable to the untrained eye. Storck have used a new specification of carbon that is 100% Storck specific and is the highest grade of carbon available. This in conjunction with a new, enhanced, more accurate alignment of the individual carbon fibres have resulted in a frameset that is 10% laterally stiffer and lighter than the previous range topping Fascenario 0.7IS. This means the stiffness to weight ratio pulls even further away from so called competitors. The new manufacturing process and materials have also resulted in a more vertically compliant and impact resistant frameset.
The Fascenario 0.6 has re-defined the top of the range road bike market - nothing else even comes close.

• Storck Fenomalist 2011, Matte White
Just arrived in to us is the brand new, slightly revamped Fenomalist for 2011.
The first and most obvious change comes with the new finish. Following the trend of the best selling Scenario 1.0 the Fenomalist now comes in a painted white option. A matte finish and new decals add to the striking new look. “Isn’t the matte finish hard to clean” I hear you say - well no is my answer. By using Storcks own line of Carbo Care products no dirt or other impurities can become deeply embedded in the finish and just wipe off with a damp cloth.
The second change to the Fenomalist is a lot more subtle to the eye but can be described as a real upgrade over the previous incarnation. Storck have slightly changed their Storck specific carbon and the manufacturing process. This leads to a more accurate alignment of the carbon fibres, a greater amount of compression on these fibres and an optimal carbon to resin ratio. These improvements have yielded 20% more lateral stiffness and more verticle compliance over the 2009-2010 Fenomalist. Now this is pretty impressive - the Fenomalist was already the stiffest frameset in the Storck range and one of the stiffest available on the market and by keeping the weight at the same level the stiffness to weight ratio goes through the roof. It’s easy to make a stiff bike. It's not easy to make a stiff, light bike that still has superb riding characteristics - but this is where Storck excels.
The complete bike as pictured was finished with Tune Schwarzbrenner 25T wheels, Veloflex Carbon Tubs, Syntace bars, stem and seatpost and full Shimano Dura Ace groupset. The frameset is a size 59 and total weight came in at 14.4lbs (6.5kgs)
